This is probably the sixth or seventh version of this panel I’ve made. You can follow the play-by-play via the related links below this post.

This go-round was mostly to see if I could do any interesting pen textures (like the wallpaper pattern). They look okay but I don’t think they’re worth the extra elbow grease.

The original version was too bland; this version is too dire. Fun to really lay on the ink, though.

I forgot to paint the cigar. It looks like he’s chomping on a dry erase marker.

I’ve begun posting images to Flickr here. That collection will be more “curated”—just pictures that I’m reasonably satisfied with, instead of the soup-to-nuts view of things seen here.
