With the benefit of hindsight, it seems to me that I had movies and movie framing too much in mind when drawing the last iteration of this book. When I tried to drop something more cartoon-oriented in there (like Atom’s vision of his landlady, panel #3) it didn’t quite knit together. Back to studying Blain and Sfar’s layouts …
