Here’s the latest snapshot of the debris inhabiting my drawing table. Visible are a suitably grimy copy of Weegee’s Naked City, a template I made for my thumbnail pages, Here at the New Yorker by Brendan Gill, the excellent Vampire Loves by Joann Sfar, and a giant bottle of antacid. The basic cartoonist’s toolkit.
The light at the end of the tunnel? Not by a long shot. Pretty, though.
