Here’s a corner of my studio. My poor corn plant has apparently grown too big for its planter, and so it’s forced to lean against the bookcase to stay upright. Also visible is the umbrella plant on the bookcase, whose leaves get tangled up with the other plant in an interesting way. It’s a little jungle over there.

I forced myself to turn off the computer earlier and get down to work on Un. It’s scary to be alone with your thoughts.

Three attempts at a painting – top left and bottom are watercolor, top right is gouache. From the same series as the guy on the balcony, earlier. I can’t quite get the background color of the plane right, though I think the last version (the bottom watercolor) is on the right track. Maybe it would help if I painted Leslie Nielsen in the background.
