This was an experiment … I scribbled a sketch with some “funny animals” (not a subject I’ve done much with before) for a contest about six months ago. I didn’t have time to tackle a finished work at the time, so the sketch lived on my drawing board and glared at me until I finally buckled down to do the work. I think the painting came out pretty well. I had a lot of fun painting in the trees and paddle steamer.
